Beautiful, antique map of "Asia Minor and the Euxin Sea" published in 1808. This is an authentic map taken from Charles Rollins' "The Ancient History of the Egyptians, Carthaginians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Medes and Persians, Macedonians and Grecians" published by Rivington in 1808 and is NOT a computer reproduction.

See what modern-day Turkey and the countries of the Black Sea looked like in ancient times, as illustrated more than 210 years ago. Lots of charming, intricate details and contours, including mountains, rivers, lakes and ancient place names. Verso is blank.

Perfect for the historian, map-lover, the curious or just as a conversation starter. Wonderful and rare. Vintage maps such as these make great gifts.

Edition of 1808, printed 1808

Dimensions: 14 3/4" width x 11 1/2" height

Condition: Good Vintage condition, commensurate with age. This map is in great shape for being over 210 years old. Has edge-wear, ghost image of opposing page, upper left corner of page cropped, atlas fold lines and toning, but this will add to vintage character and its authenticity when framed.
