This is an authentic map, originally engraved in 1855, taken from the renowned Colton's Atlas of the World published in 1871. It is an original is NOT a computer reproduction.

See what Western Africa looked like over 165 years ago. Lots of charming, intricate details and contours, including mountains, rivers, lakes and place names. Hand-colored. Verso are details of the population of states and territories in 1870.
