Beautiful, antique double plates of photographs of various rock formations of Vandiver and Bessemer, Alabama and surrounding Jefferson County and Shelby County areas. This is an authentic 1927 edition, 1927 print from the U.S. Geological Survey and is NOT a computer reproduction. It is from a Geologic Atlas folio.

See what Alabama looked like 115 years ago. Perfect for the historian, rock-lover, the curious or just as a conversation starter. Very rare. Vintage prints such as these make great gifts.

Edition of 1927, printed 1927

Dimensions: 18 1/2" width x 22" height
