Beautiful, antique civilian map of Japan from WWII-era. This is an authentic 1940s print from and is NOT a computer reproduction. Was a battlefield pick-up from an ex-Navy veteran, possibly after a battle on Guam.

See what Japan looked like over 75 years ago. Lots of charming, intricate details and contours, including mountains, islands, rivers, major roads, cities and prefectures. All text is in Japanese. Reverse side has some text as well. Includes also one page from the Nippon Times, dated December 2nd, 1945.

Condition: Fair or "Very Vintage" condition, commensurate with age. This map is in highly vintage shape for being over 75 years old. Has some real wear, foxing, toning, burn holes, tears and smudges, but this will all read as vintage character when framed.
