This is one of the rare 1/250,000 scale maps that covers a lot of space with incredible detail.

See what the sedimentary, quarternary, Tertiary and cretaceous New Jersey & Pennsylvania looked like more than 115 years ago. Lots of intricate details and geological contours. Map even has little squares for every house that existed at the time. The USGS cartographers were very thorough back then! This is one of the rare maps with the map legend on the front.

Condition: Very Good condition, commensurate with age. This map is in incredible shape for being over 110 years old. Stored in a folio, so colors and ink quality are still very bright. Has light wear and staple holes where it was removed from the folio, but this will add to vintage character when framed.
